PM Modi To Meet 1000 Students On April 1st For Pariksha Pe Charcha
In order to inspire Indian students to excel in examinations without succumbing to the stress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to interact with the student community on April 1, 2022. The event, to be held at the Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi, is called "Pariksha Pe Charcha" (PPC). Announcing the event on Twitter, PM Modi wrote on his official account, "Let's talk stress-free exams yet again! Calling upon the dynamic #ExamWarriors, their parents and teachers to join this year's Pariksha Pe Charcha on the 1st of April." https://twitter.com/narendramodi/status/1508102958273433605?t=gHPrceu7db-mEcqI_Tuy2Q&s=19 For the last four years, the PM's interaction with students is being organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Union Ministry of Education. For the first three years, the interactions happened in New Delhi in an interactive event like a town-hall. But the fourth edition happened online on April 7 due to the extremely serious COVID-19 restrictions. On March 26, PM Modi called the Pariksha Pe Charcha interaction a "light-hearted opportunity", which would give the students a chance to talk about various aspects of exams and life, in general. The participants for the event were chosen with the help of an online creative writing competition, in which 15.7 lakh people had enrolled. Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister, while speaking ahead of the April 1 interaction, shared some important updates for the PPC 2022. He informed that owing to the Covid restrictions, only 1000 students from Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have been invited to the program. The event will also be featured across the countries with a sizeable Indian Diaspora, like USA, UAE, etc. Mr Pradhan highlighted that Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the larger movement - ‘Exam Warriors' - led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to create a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters. He said, it is a movement that is driven by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to bring together students, parents, teachers and the society to foster an environment where the unique individuality of each child is celebrated, encouraged and allowed to express itself fully.
