PM at Republic Summit: India became 3.5 trillion economy under his government

The Prime Minister thanked everyone for attending the Republic Summit and congratulated the entire team on reaching the milestone of six years next month. The Prime Minister recalled his participation in the 2019 Republic Summit, which had the subject "India's Moment," and noted that it was framed by the people's mandate, which came about after voters for the second time in a row chose a stable administration with a resounding majority.

The Prime Minister stated that "The country realized that India's moment is now here". The Prime Minister explained the significance of this year's theme, "Time of Transformation," saying that citizens can already see the shift that was predicted four years ago taking place.

The speed of the country's development, according to the prime minister, is the benchmark for determining its orientation. He said that it took the Indian economy 60 years to reach the 1 trillion-dollar barrier and that we only managed to reach the 2 trillion-dollar milestone with great difficulty in 2014. This means that India reached its 2 trillion-dollar economy in just 7 decades, and today, after only 9 years, it has nearly reached its 3 1/2 trillion-dollar mark. He added that India rose from 10th to 5th place in the last 9 years, and that too in the midst of a pandemic that occurred just once in a century. India not only overcame the crisis but is developing quickly while other economies are having trouble, he continued.

He stated that the Mudra Yojna had disbursed more than 40 crores in loans, with 70% of the recipients being women. The PM Svamitva scheme's first, second, and third order impacts were further discussed by the Prime Minister. Technology-based property cards increased consumer confidence in the security of their property.
