There were reports that several Indian government-run Operation Ganga was working in Ukraine on a very large scale. Many people of Pakistan were asking for help by hoisting the flag of India. Now a Pakistani girl who has returned from Ukraine has thanked the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. India has pulled this road back from Ukraine.

"I am very thankful to the Indian Embassy in Kyiv for supporting us here in every way as we were stuck in a very difficult situation," he said. In a video posted by news agency ANI, she said, "I am also thanking the Prime Minister of India. Hope we reach home safely, thanks to the Indian Embassy." Asma Shafiq is now on her way to western Ukraine from where she will eventually exit the war-torn country. She will be reunited with her family soon, ANI quoted sources as saying.

Russo-Ukraine War Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 February. While a massive Russian armored column threatening Ukraine's capital remains stalled outside Kyiv, Russia's military has launched hundreds of missile and artillery attacks on cities and other sites across the country. Hundreds of civilians have been confirmed dead and more than 1.5 million people have fled Ukraine since the start of the fighting. Since the invasion began on 24 February, the Indian government has been evacuating Indian citizens from Ukraine through neighboring countries as part of Operation Ganga. More than 16,000 civilians have returned to India since the start of the war.
