"Your Daughter Has Probably Committed Suicide": Viral Audio Clips Revealed in Kolkata Doctor's Rape and Murder Case

An audio clip related to the rape and murder of a female doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College has surfaced. The night the trainee doctor was brutally assaulted, the victim's family was called from the hospital and informed about the incident. Although it was not told on the call what the actual incident was, but it was informed.

After this incident, before RG Kar, a woman called the victim's parents and asked them to come to the hospital quickly. The woman said, 'Your daughter is very ill. You come to the hospital quickly.' In the second call, she says, 'Your daughter's condition is bad, she has been admitted to the emergency. I don't know what has happened, the doctor will tell. I am not a doctor, I am speaking as an assistant.'

The victim's mother her him if she has fever. However, she just asks the parents to come to the hospital quickly. After this, in the third call, it is said, 'Your daughter has probably committed suicide or has died. We are all here, so is the police.' These three audio clips are now going viral.

On August 9, the body of a female doctor was found in the seminar hall of the government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, bearing marks of severe injuries. The woman was raped and then murdered. A man named Sanjay Roy was arrested in connection with the case.

Roy was arrested the next day based on CCTV footage in which he was seen entering the seminar hall at 4.03 am on the day of the incident. On August 13, the Calcutta High Court ordered the investigation of the case to be transferred from the Kolkata Police to the CBI. The CBI took over the investigation on August 14.
