According to sources, the protesters were not allowed to take out the march.
After the situation in Howrah deteriorated, the Trinamool Congress alleged that a conspiracy was hatched to disturb the situation in the middle of the march. At the same time, the people participating in the protest are demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and justice in the RG Kar Medical College case. However, the main rally which started at College Square in central Kolkata is still peaceful. No obstruction has been seen there so far.
6 thousand policemen were deployed during the Nabanna march. Apart from this, 2 thousand policemen were deployed for the security of the state secretariat. So that if any kind of unpleasant situation arises, it can be controlled immediately. But, the protesters are filled with anger. The barricades put up by the police have been broken.
