Uttar Pradesh Gears Up for Maha Kumbh 2025 with 24 Hours Security: 220 High-Tech Divers and 700 Boats Deployed
NDRF, SDRF, and Local Boatmen Join Forces to Ensure Devotee Safety at the World's Largest Cultural Event
The Yogi government is preparing to deal with every emergency regarding the Maha Kumbh to be held next year in 2025. To make the world's largest cultural program successful from the security point of view, many teams of NDRF and SDRF along with water police, PAC and health workers are working together.
During the Maha Kumbh, security personnel of NDRF and SDRF, including 220 high-tech dip divers, will be on alert mode 24 hours a day on 700 boats. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, all kinds of arrangements are being made for the foolproof security of the devotees coming to the Maha Kumbh from the country and abroad. Due to this, the most selected water police personnel of the country including Goa, Kolkata and Maharashtra are being deployed in Prayagraj.
For the first time, such a large number of high-tech deep divers are being deployed to ensure that no untoward incident happens to the bathers and saints during bathing. Janardan Prasad Sahni, in charge of the water police of Prayagraj Fort police station, said that 180 deep divers have been deployed during the Maha Kumbh, who are coming here from different parts of the country, while 39 deep divers are already deployed here. In this way, a total of 220 deep divers will be in alert mode for safety in the water all the time.
Apart from this, on the instructions of CM Yogi, the cooperation of a large number of local people is also being taken in this. Local boatmen will also cooperate, who are capable of going up to 40 feet in depth even without a gas cylinder. Not only this, 10 companies of PAC, 12 companies of NDRF and 6 companies of SDRF are also being deployed to help the bathers, which will be able to deal with any adverse situation.
The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is working in action mode 24 hours a day for the security of the devotees coming to the Maha Kumbh from the country and the world. On the instructions of the government, many government and non-government organizations are also ready to cooperate in the biggest cultural event of Maha Kumbh. Under this, along with PAC and NDRF-SDRF, local people of the village are also participating in it in large numbers. Similarly, the water police are also training a team of local people. Which more than 200 soldiers are going to play their role in the security of the saints and devotees bathing in Maha Kumbh.
