TVS Unveils 2024 Jupiter 110: A Comprehensive Upgrade After a Decade

TVS Motors has updated its popular scooter Jupiter 110 after a long wait of 10 years. It can also be said that this new model is the New Gen Jupiter 110. Even though the company updated it after a long time, it has added many such features which can attract Honda Activa customers towards it. In such a situation, if you are also planning to buy Honda Activa, Suzuki Access, Hero Maestro or any other ICE scooter, then you must know about the features of the new Jupiter 110. Let us tell you that its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 73,700.

1. New design

It has been more than a decade since Jupiter came into the market. With this new generation model, TVS has completely changed its design. Every panel of it is new. Nothing has been taken from the old model. The most special thing about the design is the infinity LED light bar with integrated turn indicators on the front apron. From the side, the scooter looks advanced, while black chrome elements further enhance its styling. It also gets a similar jewel-type treatment for the LED taillight assembly.

2. More features

The 2024 TVS Jupiter gets features like full-LED lighting, follow me home headlamp, auto turn indicator reset and emergency brake warning. It also gets a fully coloured instrument cluster that shows a lot of details. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity that is enabled with features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and text alerts, find my vehicle and voice assist. It gets a front storage box with USB charging port and large under-seat storage that can hold two basic full-face helmets. It also gets an external, front-mounted fuel-filling cap.

3. New chassis

Under the bodywork, the 2024 Jupiter uses an all-new chassis, which is similar to the chassis of the Jupiter 125. This new frame has allowed TVS to place the fuel tank under the floorboard and the fuel lid at the front below the handlebar. This chassis may also allow TVS to introduce an electric version of Jupiter in the future. With some minor changes, the fuel tank can be replaced with a battery pack.

4. Bigger engine

The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 is powered by a new and bigger 113.5cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8bhp and 9.2Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. However, with the new iGO Assist feature, the motor produces a peak torque of 9.8Nm, which helps in faster acceleration while overtaking in the city. The special thing is that its fuel tank has become 300ML smaller compared to the old model, but its mileage will not let it cost it.

5. Variants and Colours

The new Jupiter 110 is available in four variants Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC and Disc SXC. The two lower variants miss out on features like iGO Assist, SmartXonnect and Infinity Light Bar. The scooter is available in 6 colours, including Dawn Blue Matte, Galactic Copper Matte, Starlight Blue Gloss, Lunar White Gloss, Titanium Grey Matte and Meteor Red Gloss. The base Drum variant is priced at Rs 73,700, Drum Alloy variant at Rs 79,200, Drum SXC at Rs 83,250 and Disc SXC at Rs 87,250, ex-showroom.
