RSS Emphasizes Women's Safety, Swift Justice | No Compromise

Palakkad: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has emphasized that there should be no compromise on women's safety. This issue was extensively discussed during the three-day RSS Samanwaya Baithak held at Palakkad.

Sunil Ambekar, RSS Akhila Bharatheeya Prachar Pramukh, stated during a press conference on September 2, 2024, the concluding day of the Samanvaya Baithak, that there is a need for swift and time-bound justice in crimes against women. He emphasized that the legal system and government must be vigilant and proactive, and the law should be strengthened if necessary.

The meeting stressed the need for strengthening the legal framework, raising awareness in society, promoting values at the family level and through education, self-defense programs, and addressing issues related to digital content, especially on OTT platforms, to ensure women's safety.

The meeting also discussed other issues, including caste-census and reservation, persecution of Hindus and minorities in Bangladesh, border security in Kutch, Gujarat, and religious conversion attempts in Tamil Nadu.

In connection with the RSS centenary, a five-point action plan for social transformation has been prepared. The plan aims to be an all-inclusive initiative that reaches every section of society.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat delivered the valedictory speech at the three-day All-India RSS Samanwaya Baithak at the Ahalia Campus in Palakkad.
