Revenue Department Services Now Available at Bihar Saras Mela

In a bid to make its services more accessible to the public, the Revenue and Land Reforms Department has set up a stall at the Bihar Saras Mela in Gandhi Maidan, Patna. The stall, which will be open from December 12 to 26, 2024, will provide various online services, including e-map, parimarjan, parimarjan plus, and dakhil-khariz.

Visitors to the stall can also purchase a booklet on Kaithi script for Rs 50. Additionally, the department has made available revenue maps of all 38 districts of Bihar, including CS, RS, chakbandi, and municipal survey maps, totaling around 1,36,000 maps. Interested individuals can obtain a map of their village by filling out a form available at the stall and making a cash payment of Rs 150 per sheet.

The department has also launched an online service for obtaining maps, which can be accessed through the department's official website, (link unavailable) This service allows individuals to receive maps at their doorstep through a door-step delivery service.

The Revenue Department's decision to set up a stall at the Bihar Saras Mela is a response to public demand. The department had previously set up stalls at the Sonepur Mela and Patna Book Fair, which received an overwhelming response from the public.
