Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Reiterates Commitment to Empower Youth

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann reiterated the state government's commitment to making youth an active partner in the socio-economic progress of the state.

Addressing the gathering during the inter-zonal youth festival at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, the Chief Minister said that youngsters possess inherent qualities to excel in every field, and their capabilities must be utilized properly.

Mann unequivocally stated that he would not rest until the students of Punjab achieve their desired goals. He asserted that every effort is being made to give wings to the ideas of the youth, and no stone is being left unturned for this noble cause.

The Chief Minister made a fervent appeal to the youth to make all-out efforts to carve an identity of their own and make a place in society, adding that the sky's the limit for them. He urged the youth not to feel proud of their victory but to stay humble and work hard for more success.

Mann said that it is a matter of great pride for him to be at the youth festival, as he is a product of such events. Recalling his college days, he said that youth festivals act as a platform for grooming the overall personality of the youth.

The Chief Minister said that these youth festivals have helped him excel in life as an artist and now as a politician. He said that the youth must use these platforms for their comprehensive growth and development.

Mann called upon the youth to perform their best, as it is only the performance that matters ultimately. He exhorted the youth to stay grounded even after winning and believe in hard work, as it is the sole key to success.

The Chief Minister said that his father was a science teacher and wanted him to excel in academics. However, Mann said that he was passionate about art and culture, which ultimately led to his stupendous success in this field.

He asked the youth to value old relations, friends, teachers, and others who have helped them excel after attaining success. Exhorting the youth to play a proactive role and support the state government in making Punjab a frontrunner state across the globe, Mann said that the youth of the state have been blessed with unbounded energy and talent.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to the well-being and progress of the state, adding that no stone will be left unturned for this noble cause.

On the demand of students, Mann, accompanied by his college mate and artist Karamjit Anmol, mesmerized the audience by reciting the poem "Maghda Rahin Ve Surja Kammian De Vehre" penned by noted Punjabi poet Sant Ram Udasi from the stage.
