PM Modi's Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Empowers 1.25 Crore Beneficiaries, Gains Momentum Across India

During a virtual address on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed his government's steadfast commitment to uplifting women, farmers, youth, and the underprivileged. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a transformative initiative, has rapidly achieved remarkable success, reaching over 1.25 crore beneficiaries in 40,000 panchayats and numerous cities within just one month.

Expressing satisfaction with the Yatra's impact, PM Modi highlighted its tangible results in delivering government scheme benefits directly to citizens. Dedicated vans have distributed one lakh new Ujjwala connections and over 35 lakh Ayushman health cards to deserving individuals. Enthusiastically embraced by the public, the Yatra has gained widespread recognition as "Modi ki Guarantee Wali Gadi" across the nation.

Addressing the Lakhpati Didi campaign, the Prime Minister outlined ambitious plans to empower two crore women in Self Help Groups. The Namo Didi campaign aims to make women financially self-sufficient, even incorporating drone training under the 'Drone Didi Yojana' for select women groups.

Encouraging active youth participation, PM Modi urged them to prioritize their fitness and well-being, emphasizing the importance of 'Poshan, Pani, Pehalwani', and 'Paryapt Neend'. Before his address, the Prime Minister interacted with beneficiaries from Karnataka, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, and Gujarat, who shared their positive experiences with the Yatra.

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Singh Thakur, highlighted the Yatra's phenomenal success, with over one crore 20 lakh people attending more than 40,000 camps to access various welfare schemes. This campaign has evolved into a national movement, engaging digital-savvy youth who pledge to contribute towards India's development journey, aspiring to achieve a developed nation status by 2047.
