PM Modi to Unveil Mega Development Projects in Maharashtra, Inaugurate National Youth Festival Tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to kick off a series of significant events in Maharashtra tomorrow, starting with the inauguration of the 27th National Youth Festival in Nashik. The four-day festival, themed 'Viksit Bharat@ 2047: युवा के लिए, युवा के द्वारा,' commemorates National Youth Day on Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary.

Following the festival inauguration, PM Modi will unveil the 'Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri - Nhava Sheva Atal Setu,' a monumental 21.8-kilometer sea bridge connecting Mumbai to Pune, Goa, and South India. With a cost exceeding 17,840 crore rupees, this bridge stands as India's longest and promises enhanced connectivity and faster travel.

The day's itinerary also includes a public address in Navi Mumbai, where the Prime Minister will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for multiple projects totaling over 12,700 crore rupees. Highlights encompass the groundbreaking of an underground road tunnel linking Eastern Freeway's Orange Gate to Marine Drive, inauguration of the Surya Regional Bulk Drinking Water project's first phase, commencement of Phase 2 for the Uran-Kharkopar railway line, and the unveiling of the new suburban station 'Digha Gaon' on the Thane-Vashi/Panvel Trans-harbour line.

In addition to infrastructure milestones, PM Modi is set to inaugurate 'Bharat Ratnam,' a Mega Common Facilitation Centre for the Gems and Jewellery sector at Santacruz Electronic Export Processing Zone- Special Economic Zone (SEEPZ SEZ). Furthermore, the launch of 'Namo Mahila Shashaktikaran Abhiyaan' is anticipated, aiming to empower women in the state through skill development training and exposure to entrepreneurship development.
