Patna Students Shine in National Cryptic Crossword Contest, Securing Top Ranks

Students from Patna have once again brought pride to Bihar by excelling in the third online round of the national-level Inter-School Cryptic Crossword Contest (CCCC-12.0). In a remarkable achievement, six teams from Patna secured spots in the top 10 rankings, with Adya Singh from Notre Dame Academy leading the charge by clinching the first position nationwide for the second consecutive time.

Adya Singh, who was the champion of last year's CCCC 11.0, continued her dominance in this year's competition, securing the top spot in the latest online round. Her outstanding performance was complemented by the achievements of her brother, Nanya Dev Singh, a student of Delhi Public School, Patna, who, alongside his teammate, secured the 10th position.

Sibling success stories continued with Dhairya Pandey from Don Bosco Academy and his sister Shraddha Shri from St. Michael's High School, both of whom delivered strong performances in the competition, securing the 5th and 6th positions, respectively. Notably, both sibling pairs participated in the competition with separate teams, showcasing their individual talents and contributing to Patna's impressive overall performance.

Teams from BCM Arya Model School, Ludhiana, secured the second and third positions, demonstrating a competitive spirit that kept the contest thrilling. However, it was Patna's students who dominated the leaderboard, particularly those from Delhi Public School, which had the most students in the top 10.

The completion of the third online round marks the conclusion of the first phase of the CCCC 12.0 competition. A final leaderboard will be compiled by aggregating the scores from all three online rounds, with the top 100 teams qualifying for the second phase of the contest.

This year's competition has once again highlighted the talent and intellectual prowess of Patna's students, who continue to excel on national platforms, bringing recognition to their schools and their state.
