Outrage in Badlapur After Molestation of Two 4-Year-Old Girls; Residents Halt Train Services in Protest
Badlapur Molestation Case: A case of molestation of two 4-year-old girls has come to light in Badlapur of Thane area in Maharashtra. After this, angry Badlapur residents stopped the train. People have blocked the way of the train going to Mumbai at Badlapur railway station. Also, the people of Badlapur are very angry due to the school administration not coming forward in the matter.
According to the information, both the girls were sexually assaulted by a 23-year-old male cleaning worker in the girls' washroom in the school. An FIR has been registered in this case and the cleaning worker has also been arrested.
Parents expressed displeasure over the fact that the school took the safety of the girl students lightly and did not give any assurance or apology. At the same time, the police investigation has revealed many flaws and negligence on the part of the school management.
Apart from there being no female attendant in the girls' washroom, many CCTV cameras in the school were not working and due to this there is anger among the family members towards the school.
