NDMC Council Meeting Approves Citizen-Centric and Infrastructure Proposals

New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) held its Council meeting today, chaired by NDMC Chairperson Shri Amit Yadav, in the presence of Vice-Chairperson Shri Satish Upadhyay, MLA & Member NDMC Shri Virender Singh Kadian, Council Members Smt. Vishakha Shailani, and Shri Girish Sachdeva. They considered and approved various Citizen-Centric and infrastructure-related proposals, including:

The Council resolved to extend contracts with existing security agencies from 01.03.2024 to 28.02.2025, maintaining the same rates, terms, and conditions.

The Council approved Rs.6,00,69,000/- for resurfacing roads in the North West Moti Bagh area due to deteriorating conditions, based on inspections and requests from residents and the RWA.

The Council decided to auction 39 parking sites managed by NDMC, seeking E-Tenders/RFPs for their allotment on a monthly license fee basis.

The Council updated on the progress of setting up 156 Communication Cellular Mobile Towers on Wheels. They approved extending the concessioner agreement for existing Cellular on Wheels (CoWs) towers with M/s Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. & M/s Indus Towers Ltd. until 31.03.2024 or the finalization of NDMC RoW Policy, whichever is earlier. Additionally, they decided to upload the draft NDMC Right of Way (RoW) policy for public review, inviting comments at eespndmc@gmail.com.
