Nayab Singh Saini to be Sworn in as New Haryana Chief Minister on October 17
The swearing-in ceremony of the new Haryana government is going to be held on October 17. According to sources, Nayab Singh Saini will take oath as the new Chief Minister of the state at 10 am. This ceremony will be held in Panchkula. Many senior BJP leaders including PM Narendra Modi will also attend the swearing-in ceremony. Giving information about the swearing-in ceremony, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said, "The Chief Minister and other ministers will be sworn in on October 17 in Panchkula.
About 50 thousand people are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Many Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states will also attend the ceremony. Apart from this, Union Ministers and top leadership of BJP as well as senior party leaders will also be present in the program. According to the information, Anil Vij, Krishan Lal Middha, Shruti Chaudhary, Arvind Kumar Sharma, Vipul Goyal and Nikhil Madan may get a place in the new cabinet of the Haryana government.
The BJP made Naib Singh Saini the Chief Minister from the post of Haryana party president in March 2024. At that time the BJP was facing an anti-incumbency wave after Manohar Lal's nine-and-a-half-year tenure.
Naib Singh Saini met Prime Minister Modi and other senior party leaders in Delhi on Wednesday. After this, on Thursday he also met Union Minister and Haryana BJP election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan in the capital.
Let us tell you that on October 8, the Election Commission declared the results for all 90 assembly seats in Haryana. In the election results, the BJP has got the absolute majority to form the government for the third time. At the same time, Congress will have to sit in the opposition for the third time. BJP has won 48 seats. While Congress won 37 seats. Voting for the 90-member assembly of the state was held on October 5, while the counting of votes was done on October 8.
After losing the election, Congress has blamed the EVMs. Recently, some Congress leaders approached the Election Commission with 20 complaints. The Election Commission has assured them that it will investigate.
