JDMC Alumnae shone in all walks of life : Principal Prof. Swati Pal

The Alumnae Association of Janki Devi Memorial College organized an alumnae meet of its former students on Saturday, 29th March 2025 at Hyatt Centric, Janakpuriwith great pomp and show to mark the blue Sapphire year of the college i.e. 65th year of the college.

The head of the institution, Principal Prof.Swati Pal in her address, welcomed all the Alumnae. She took great pride in sharing the current achievements of the college such as the international collaborations with universities in Uzbekistan, Bhutan and Colombo which have resulted in excellent international conferences. She spoke about how the college has always been striving for excellence and the role of the Alumnae in laying the foundation of the college as an empowering educational institution. She requested the Alumnae to play a more inspiring role for present activities in colleges and was proud that JDMC Alumnae shone in all walks of life be it law, education, entrepreneurship, entertainment, management and the armed forces.

President of the Alumnae Association Prof. Sandhya Garg also addressed the gathering. More than 300 students enjoyed this lovely evening together. The alumnae were also entertained by some special fun activities. And some senior retired alumnae members, former President Dr. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Sharda Gautam and Mrs. Usha Rajput were honored, who were alumnae of this college as well.
