IXL 2024 Online Round 7: For the First Time, an Indian Claims the Top Spot- Ramki Krishnan Shines Bright with 100 Points
In a stunning display of talent, six-time Indian Crossword League winner Ramki Krishnan has emerged as the frontrunner in this year’s highly anticipated global contest. Krishnan has claimed the top position in the seventh weekly online round of IXL 2024 with an impressive 100 points. His consistent performance has also secured him the overall lead, as the scores from all participants across the seven online rounds are aggregated.
Samit Kallianur, a healthcare professional from Secunderabad, took second place, while Harish Kamath from Bangalore finished third with 98 points.
Eric Agard, who dominated the contest by securing the top spot in five online rounds, has now dropped to 73rd spot in the seventh online round, further impacting his overall ranking, which slipped to 13th position.
Remarkably, this marks the first time in the contest's history that an Indian participant has claimed the top spot. In fact, all eight of the highest positions are now held by Indian participants.
