India will become the third-largest economic power, as promised by Modi: PM Modi

Varanasi: In his third term as prime minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised to make India the third-largest economy in the world and reaffirmed the BJP government's commitment to the development of the entire nation, including Kashi.

"There are elections across the country in just a few months, and Modi has guaranteed the country that in his third innings, he will make India the third largest economic power in the world," the prime minister said in a speech to the public following the introduction of projects worth more than Rs 19,000 crore in Varanasi. You all, my own people in Kashi, are the reason I am offering this pledge to the nation. You consistently support me and help me stick to my goals."

"It is our goal that no beneficiary be denied access to any public welfare or poverty programs developed by the federal government," he stated. For this reason, the car taking part in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has gained immense popularity and is referred to as the vehicle of Modi's guarantee. This assurance has raised national trust in India's ability to evolve into a developed nation by 2047," he stated.

As such, I inform my public sector colleagues that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra functions as a kind of mobile university for us. It offers us the ability to learn," he remarked.

He declared: "Kashi's development would be accelerated by the projects introduced today. We ought to visit at least fifteen cities, I declared from the Red Fort. It pleases me that people who once traveled overseas are now returning to their home nation. Development rises in proportion to tourism growth. Tourists have been spending more money in Kashi, which has raised locals' income. This is something that the government works on constantly.

As the world hailed Kashi, the PM claimed to be at his happiest. "When Kashi develops, UP develops and when UP develops, the country develops," he explained.

The projects that were officially launched or had their foundation stones put included drinking water supplies, roads, electricity, Ganga Ghat, railways, airports, solar energy, and critical care units in trauma centers. On this occasion, the prime minister also signaled the departure of four trains, one of which was the second Vande Bharat train that operated from Varanasi to New Delhi.

He stated, "Earlier, the poor used to make rounds of the government, now the government itself is reaching out to the poor."

The PM stated that while the government is working hard to make life in Kashi easier, it is also working hard to raise inhabitants' incomes and strengthen the city's connectivity with other areas. This is because Kashi tourism is growing, resulting in thousands of new job opportunities.

He also shared details about Varanasi's newly created tourism website and the Unified Tourist Pass System, both of which are part of the Smart City project. The delight of enjoying malai (cream) and chura-matar (beaten rice with peas) in the winter is lost on visitors to Kashi from other countries. He said, speaking in Bhojpuri, "All of these would be included on the website, along with the chaat and lassi from Godaulia and Ramnagar.

Modi also noted additional projects that have been announced or whose foundation stone has been laid, such as the 800 MW solar power facility that will be built in Chitrakoot and the dedicated freight corridor between Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction and New Bhaupur Junction.

Regarding the role drone technology would play in agriculture, he stated that drones will influence how India's agricultural sector develops in the future. NaMo Drone Didi was introduced by the government. The initiative involves teaching women in self-help groups how to fly drones," he stated.

Regarding the Banas Dairy Plant, the Prime Minister stated that work is proceeding quickly in Varanasi and the project is expected to be finished in the next month or so. "Banas Dairy is investing Rs 500 crore in Kashi," according to him.

Having been disregarded for decades, he claimed that Purvanchal as a whole is now being served by Modi, thanks to the blessings of Mahadev.
