Himachal Pradesh Government Announces 4% DA Hike for Employees Ahead of Diwali

The government has given a big gift to the government employees of Himachal Pradesh before Diwali. CM Sukhu has announced to give the installment of 4 percent DA due to the employees from January 1, 2023, in a press conference in Shimla. At the same time, the CM has also announced the payment of DA due to NPS employees and officers outside the purview of OPS, which will benefit 1300 personnel under NPS. This will put a burden of about 600 crores on the government treasury.

Government agencies have started purchasing paddy in the Una district. The Himachal Pradesh government will purchase paddy till December 31. The state government has fixed the price of the crop at Rs 2,320 per quintal. This purchase will be done in all three mandis of the district - Rampur, Takarla and Tahliwal. According to the statement issued here, the farmer's crop will be examined after cleaning at the procurement centre. The moisture content in the crop should not exceed 17 percent.
