Good news for Delhi woman! Mahila Samman Yojana may be announced tomorrow

Good news for the women of Delhi! After a long wait, the financial assistance under the Mahila Samman Yojana is going to be received. On the occasion of Women's Day, on Saturday, March 8, the government will make an official announcement of this. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has made full preparations for this.

According to sources, there will be a cabinet meeting of the Delhi government on Saturday, in which the plan to provide Rs 2500 to women every month will be approved. After this, the formal announcement of this scheme will be made at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Who will get the benefit?

The government is preparing eligibility criteria to give the benefit of the scheme to women. Women whose annual income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh will get the benefit of this scheme. In the first phase, BPL cardholders will be included. Women who are already getting any government pension will not get the benefit of this scheme. Along with this, women working in government jobs have also been excluded from the scheme.

Required documents for Mahila Samman Yojana

1. Aadhar card is necessary for identity verification.

2. The bank account of the beneficiaries should be linked to Aadhaar.

3. If the woman does not have a bank account, she will need to open it as soon as possible.

4. Income certificate is necessary.

5. Ration cards can also help in eligibility verification.

Possible free gas cylinder on Holi

Sources say that the proposal to give free gas cylinder on Holi under the Ujjwala scheme can also be approved in tomorrow's cabinet meeting.
