Gaya District to Undergo Major Road Renovation with ₹36.68 Crore Allocation

Administrative approval has been given for the renovation work of four important roads for upgradation of road infrastructure in Gaya district. The work of renovation of these roads will be started soon by the Road Construction Department.

Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister-cum-Road Construction Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha informed that there was a need for renovation of some roads in Gaya district, which has been identified by the department and administrative approval has been given for the renovation work and the renovation work will be started soon. Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister-cum- Road Construction Minister also informed that the renovation of these roads will not only improve the connectivity of Gaya city but also the surrounding regional areas.

Administrative approval of Rs 436.05 lakh has been given for surface renovation work in 9.80 km length of Aams-Naudiha-Kasma road in Gaya district under Path Division Sherghati. After this work, traveling between Rafiganj, Aurangabad and Gaya will become better for the common people.

Similarly, a scheme of Rs 1250.38 lakh has been approved for surface renovation work from Panchanpur to Sanda of SH-69 path. The total length of this path is 19.22 km, out of which RCC drainage system will also be installed in Sanda and Kamalpur villages. This renovation work will provide better and safer traffic facility to the people while commuting to Kurtha, Kizar, Paliganj and Patna.

Apart from this, renovation work of Mau-Kurkut-Bigha-Usasade Ora path has been approved under a scheme of Rs 985.98 lakh. The total length of this path is 8.20 km, and it will improve the traffic between Mau and Usasade Orabazar.

Apart from this, a scheme of Rs 996.36 lakh has been approved for surface renovation work in a length of 10.90 km in Dadreji-Anti Rafiganj path. With the construction of this road, travel between Daudnagar, Gaya and Rafiganj will become safe and convenient.
