Department of Information and Public Relations Employees Shine in 34th State Shooting Competition 2024
The 34th State Shooting Competition concluded with remarkable success for the Department of Information and Public Relations as two of its employees showcased exceptional talent and skill. Held in Siwan from July 19 to July 23, 2024, the competition saw Shri Ranjit Kumar Bharti and Shri Praveen Kumar bringing home a total of four medals, adding a significant milestone to their department's achievements.
Medal Winners and Their Achievements
Shri Ranjit Kumar Bharti:
- Gold Medal in the individual event of 25-meter Standard Pistol
- Silver Medal in the team event
- Bronze Medal in the team event
- Qualified to compete in the upcoming East Zone competition
Shri Praveen Kumar:
- Bronze Medal in the team event of 25-meter Standard Pistol
Upon their return, a special ceremony was held at the Department of Information and Public Relations to honor the accomplished shooters. The Director of the Department, Shri Amit Kumar, IAS, personally congratulated the athletes and presented them with their medals. The ceremony was graced by several high-ranking officials, including Shri Vidyu Bhushan Chaudhary, Joint Secretary of the Department, Shri Kumaril Satyanandan, Special Officer, and Shri Ravi Bhushan Sahay, Joint Director.
