Delhi’s Mandir Marg Police Rescue Infant and Arrest Three Kidnappers Within 24 Hours
In the recent case of kidnapping of a two-month-old infant abducted from Gole Market was rescued and three kidnappers were arrested within 24 hours by the Mandir Marg police in Delhi. The police also recovered two other children a boy aged five and a two-year-old girl from the kidnappers.
According to the police, the infant was abducted on 13th October from Gole market. A case was registered at Mandir Marg police station and a team led by Inspector Amit Kumar Tiwari was formed to investigate.
The team analysed CCTV footage and identified the suspects. With the help of local sources and technical surveillance, they arrested Rudhir, a deaf and mute individual near Shivaji Bridge Railway Station.
Rudhir's interrogation led to the arrest of Anita Devi also known as Neetu, who confessed to kidnapping the infant along with her husband Deepak Satsangi. The police then tracked Deepak to Tundla Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh and recovered the infant.
Anita and Deepak both residents of Tundla, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested. Rudhir, a vagabond, is also in custody. The police are trying to locate the families of the two recovered children.
