Delhi Police Organizes Workshop on e-Forensic and MedLeaPR Applications
The Crime Branch of Delhi Police recently conducted a workshop at Vimarsh Hall, Delhi Police Headquarters, to familiarize officers with the use of e-Forensic and MedLeaPR applications. These digital tools are designed to streamline the investigation process and enhance coordination with key stakeholders, such as forensic departments and hospitals.
The workshop featured presentations by experts from various institutions, including the National Informatics Centre (NIC), which developed the applications, AIIMS Delhi, GTB Hospital (a pilot site for MedLeaPR), and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Rohini. These experts discussed the applications' functionalities, benefits, and potential challenges.
The four-hour-long workshop was attended by Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) and Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) from all districts and units across Delhi.
The valedictory function was presided over by the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, and was attended by Special Additional Commissioners of Police, Joint Additional Commissioners of Police and Additional Additional Commissioners of Commissioners of Police.
