Construction of Ram Mandir's Shikhara to Begin in October, Ram Darbar to be Installed by Holi 2025
The construction work of the shikhara (peak) of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will start in October. Along with this, preparations have also been completed for the construction of the proposed Ram Darbar on the first floor. Soon people will be able to see Ram Darbar in Ram temple. Both these things were discussed on the first day of the two-day meeting of Shri Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti.
The work is going on at a fast pace to complete the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. However, the construction of the temple will take about two months more than the proposed time. All topics were discussed in the review meeting of Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti.
All aspects related to construction were discussed in the meeting of technical experts with Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra and Shri Ram Mandir Trust General Secretary Champat Rai. It was also discussed in the meeting that the construction work of the peak of the temple will start in October. Experts from all the agencies of temple construction will be present when the construction starts.
A Nagar-style temple is being constructed in Ayodhya, so its peak will also be of Nagar style. A specific design (pyramid shape) is being prepared. When the construction starts in October, experts from IIT, scientists from Central Building Research Institute, experts from Roorkee (CBRI), experts from construction agency Larsen & Toubro and experts from the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) will be present. Along with this, members of Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti will also be present.
The construction of the peak in any temple is technically the most difficult. The peak will be constructed keeping in mind the features of the construction of Ram Mandir. For this, both its strength and beauty will be taken care of.
People visiting Ram Mandir will soon be able to see Ram Darbar as well. Ram Darbar will be established on the first floor before Holi next year. This was also discussed in the meeting.
Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti has informed that the design work of Ram Darbar has been completed. Ram Darbar will be made of marble. Ram Darbar will be in its complete form in which there will be idols of Ram, Sita, three brothers and Hanuman ji. Sculptor Vasudev Kamath has approved its design, Ram Darbar will be installed before Holi next year.
However, the construction of the entire temple building will take two months more than the scheduled time. The work of the temple's rampart and Sapta mandap is also going on simultaneously. Apart from the main building, landscaping work is also being done. The construction of the ground floor has been completed, and the construction of the first floor is almost 90 percent complete.
