Conspiracy to Derail Train Exposed in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh

A conspiracy to derail a train has come to light in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A 'Pendrol clip' was opened and placed on the tracks near Sarsawa railway station on the Saharanpur-Ambala rail section. As soon as this information was received, the operation of trains was stopped. Officials gave this information on Friday.

Officials said that the incident happened on Thursday night when the patrol team of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) saw the 'Pendrol clip' placed above the tracks near pillar number 199 near Sarsawa railway station. After this, they immediately informed the higher officials about it.

'Pendrol clip' works to connect the sleeper and tracks. Its absence can lead to an accident. Senior officials of Ambala division's Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Government Railway Police and RPF reached the spot.

RPF has started the investigation by registering a case against unknown people under relevant sections of the Railway Act. On this matter, DRM Mandeep Singh said, 'It is being investigated whether it is someone's mischief or someone opened the 'Pandrol Clip' and placed it on the tracks as part of a conspiracy.'

Let us tell you that incidents of such attempts to overturn trains have come to light in Uttar Pradesh before. The administration investigated this matter and identified the accused and took them into custody. Along with this, they were also questioned on this entire matter.
