Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid heartfelt tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary. The CM announced that Vajpayee's death anniversary would be observed as a state function.
Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and CM Nitish Kumar offered floral tributes to Vajpayee's life-size statue at Patliputra Park, Patna. Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar Assembly Speaker Nandkishore Yadav, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, BJP State President Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, Rural Development Minister Ashok Chaudhary, MPs Ravishankar Prasad and Devesh Chandra Thakur, MLAs Pramod Kumar and Sanjiv Chaurasia, MLCs Sanjay Kumar Singh and Kumud Verma, former MP Ramkirpal Yadav, and Chief Secretary Dr. S. Siddharth, among others, also paid their respects.
