Information and Public Relations Department has emphasized the need for widespread publicity of government welfare schemes at the Panchayat level across all districts. Officers are instructed to ensure that information about state government benefits reaches even the most marginalized individuals. This initiative aims to use hoardings and flex banners at prominent public locations such as health centers, Panchayat government buildings, and zonal buildings.
Addressing a state-level meeting at Information Bhawan, Hon'ble Minister Shri Maheshwar Hazari underscored the importance of maximizing publicity through these mediums. He highlighted that this department acts as a crucial mirror of the government's initiatives and emphasized the commitment of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar to the public. The minister urged departmental officials to utilize social media for rapid dissemination of information, leveraging its reach to enhance public awareness of government activities.
Under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, the Bihar government has been introducing various schemes that significantly benefit the people of Bihar. The government is also keen on introducing future schemes aimed at improving the welfare of the populace.
Director Shri Amit Kumar led the meeting, reviewing the agenda and providing detailed instructions on various topics, including the allocation of funds for special publicity, social media activities, and the current status of hoardings and flexes. He also discussed verification through camera recordings and youth outreach programs.
