CM Nitish Kumar Reviews Law and Order, Directs Strict Action Against Criminals

Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar held a high-level review meeting on law and order with the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police and gave necessary guidelines to the officers.
In the meeting, the Director General of Police informed the Chief Minister about the updated status of the work being done for crime control. The Director General of Police said that the police is continuously working with full alertness.
During the review, the Chief Minister gave instructions that law and order is the top priority of the government. There should be no laxity in crime control. He said that whoever commits crime, they should not be spared at any cost. Identify the culprit by investigating the reasons for the crime and ensure strict action against them without any discrimination. He instructed the officers that if there is any kind of conspiracy behind the criminal incidents, then it should also be investigated and strict action should be ensured after the investigation.
The Chief Minister said that he has instructed to expedite the work of crime investigation and complete it on time so that action can be taken against the culprits soon. He said that the police and administration should work diligently to maintain law and order.
Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary Mr. Amrit Lal Meena, Director General of Police Mr. Vinay Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Anupam Kumar, Special Officer to the Chief Minister Mr. Gopal Singh were present in the meeting.
