CM Nitish Kumar Pays Tribute to Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpuri Thakur on His 101st Birth Anniversary

On the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpuri Thakur ji, Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar paid his emotional tribute by offering flowers to his life-size statue in a state function organized in the premises of Bihar Legislative Assembly.

On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Shri Nand Kishore Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Samrat Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Health cum Agriculture Minister Shri Mangal Pandey, Food and Consumer Protection Minister Smt. Leshi Singh, Transport Minister Smt. Sheela Kumari, Deputy Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly Shri Narendra Narayan Yadav, MLA Shri Anil Kumar, Legislative Councilor Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh alias Gandhi Ji, former Minister Shri Shyam Rajak, former General Secretary of State Citizens Council Shri Arvind Kumar, Member of Bihar Child Rights Protection Commission Shri Shivshankar Nishad along with other public representatives and dignitaries also paid their emotional tribute by offering flowers to the life-size statue of Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpuri Thakur ji.

On this occasion, the artists of the Information and Public Relations Department performed Aarti Pujan, Bihar songs and sang songs based on the personality and deeds of the leader of the people.

After this, in the ceremony organized by the Art, Culture and Youth Department at the Jananayak Karpuri Thakur Smriti Sangrahalaya located at Deshratna Marg, Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Kumar Sinha, Assembly Speaker Mr. Nand Kishore Yadav, Energy Minister Mr. Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Minister Mr. Janak Ram, MLA Mr. Anil Kumar, former MP Mr. Ramkripal Yadav, former Minister Mr. Shyam Rajak, JDU National General Secretary Mr. Manish Kumar Verma along with other public representatives and dignitaries also paid their tribute by offering flowers to the statue of Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpuri Thakur ji.

On this occasion, Secretary of Art, Culture and Youth Department Mr. Pranav Kumar, Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Avkash Kumar, family members of Jananayak Karpuri Thakur and many social workers and dignitaries were present.

After this, the Chief Minister paid his tribute by garlanding the picture of Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpuri Thakur ji in the JDU party office.

On this occasion, Water Resources cum Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, JDU State President Shri Umesh Kushwaha along with other senior leaders and workers of the party were present.
