CM Nitish Kumar Inaugurates Water Supply Scheme, ITI Facilities, and Development Projects in Rohtas District

Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar today inaugurated the work by unveiling the plaque of the drinking water supply scheme for Aurangabad, Dehri and Sasaram cities under Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan at Anicut located at Dehri on Sone in Rohtas district. Additional Chief Secretary of Water Resources Department Shri Chaitanya Prasad gave detailed information to the Chief Minister about the drinking water supply scheme in Aurangabad, Dehri and Sasaram through the map.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed building of Tech Lab and Workshop at Government Industrial Training Institute Dehri on Sone at a cost of Rs 307.73 lakh and at Sasaram at a cost of Rs 272.07 lakh under Saat Nishchay Yojana-2 by unveiling the plaque and cutting the ribbon. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the newly constructed building of Tech Lab and Workshop.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister inspected laser cutter, electric vehicle section, additive manufacturing lab, robotic, paint booth, advanced plumbing, Internet of Things lab, product verification, analysis lab etc. and took detailed information from the officials.

The Chief Minister unveiled the foundation stone of police station building and outhouse, regional forensic science laboratory, joint building for specialized units at Mufassil police station Dihri under Rohtas district and laid the foundation stone. He inaugurated a total of 6,400 solar light schemes at a cost of Rs 1,962.82 lakh under the Chief Minister Solar Street Light Scheme in various blocks of the district, a total of 13 newly constructed Anganwadi centers at a cost of Rs 104.77 lakh and 2 Jeevika Gram Sangathan buildings by unveiling the foundation stone. Along with this, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for 66 libraries to be built in various blocks of the district at a cost of Rs 264 lakh, 17 Anganwadi centers at a cost of Rs 169.18 lakh, renovation work of 372 Anganwadi centers at a cost of Rs 465 lakh, construction work of Basic Middle School Bastipur, Bhainsaha, Dihri at a cost of Rs 221.76 lakh and 21 Gram Panchayat playgrounds and sports facilities to be built in various panchayats of the district at a cost of Rs 310.32 lakh and unveiled the stone plaque related to it. During this, the Chief Minister said that special care should be taken that all the work is completed properly on time.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the library in Gram Panchayat Bhaisaha, Bastipur by cutting the ribbon. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the library and Panchayat level Public Service Center Bhainsaha and took detailed information about the facilities provided. During the inspection, the Chief Minister said that the operation of the Panchayat level Public Service Center will provide a lot of convenience to the people. During the program, the Chief Minister observed the exhibition organized by the Health Department, District Industries Center, District Transport Office etc. During the exhibition, the Chief Minister handed over the keys of the community building cum work shed under the Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission Scheme, employment letters to the newly appointed Vikas Mitras under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department (Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission), keys of newly constructed houses under the Chief Minister Rural Housing Assistance Scheme, certificates to the beneficiaries trained under the Skilled Youth Program and keys to the selected beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Block Transport Scheme.

Along with this, the Chief Minister provided a check of Rs 2 crore 49 lakh 18 thousand 400 to 1,035 beneficiaries under the Sustainable Livelihood Scheme and a check of Rs 74 crore 17 lakh to 1,864 Jeevika Self Help Groups and Jeevika Didis.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Samrat Chaudhary, Water Resources Minister Mr. Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Labor Resources Minister Mr. Santosh Kumar Singh, Building Construction Minister cum Minister in-charge of Rohtas District Mr. Jayant Raj, Minority Welfare Minister Mr. Jama Khan, MLA Mr. Murari Prasad Gautam, former MP Mr. Mahabali Prasad Singh, former MLA Mr. Vashishth Singh, other public representatives, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of Water Resources Department Mr. Chaitanya Prasad, Principal Secretary of Water Resources Department Mr. Santosh Kumar Malla, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Kumar Ravi, District Magistrate of Rohtas Mr. Naveen Kumar, Superintendent of Police of Rohtas Mr. Vineet Kumar and other senior officers were present.
