CM Nitish Kumar Inaugurates Hostels, Lays Foundation Stones for Multiple Projects in Saran District
Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar today inaugurated two newly constructed hostels of 300 capacity each in the Government Polytechnic College, Madhaura campus located in Madhaura block of Saran district by unveiling the stone plaque. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the newly constructed hostels of Government Polytechnic College, Madhaura. During the inspection, he took information from the officials regarding the facilities provided in the hostels. During this, the Chief Minister said that the building here has been constructed in a very beautiful manner. It should be maintained and its cleanliness should be done regularly, special care should be taken so that the students residing here do not face any kind of difficulty.
The Chief Minister unveiled the stone plaque and laid the foundation stone of a total of 22 police buildings including 8 model police station buildings, traffic police station building to be constructed at a cost of Rs 59.93 crore under Saran district. In these, under Saran district, construction work of 20-20 women constable barracks is to be done in 13 police station premises in addition to Traffic Police Station Building, Sahajitpur Police Station Building and Out House, Darihara Bhual Police Station Building and Out House, Akilpur Police Station Building and Out House, Manjhi Police Station Building and Out House, Maker Police Station Building and Out House, Pahleja Police Station Building and Out House, Gaura Police Station Building and Out House, Nagra Police Station Building and Out House.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed building of Workshop and Tech Lab (Centre of Excellence) at Government Industrial Training Institute, Madhaura at a cost of Rs 306.63 lakh under Saat Nishchay Yojana-2 by unveiling the stone plaque. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the Workshop and Tech Lab. During the inspection, the Chief Minister observed the Additive Manufacturing Lab, Robotics, Advanced Plumbing, Product Verification and Analysis Lab etc. and took information from the officials. After this, the Chief Minister visited the beautified Amrit Sarovar under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan in Gram Panchayat Raj Amanour Harnarayan of Marhaura block. During this, the Chief Minister planted saplings in the Amrit Sarovar premises and also fed the ducks of Amrit Sarovar. During the visit, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to install paver blocks all around the Amrit Sarovar so that people can easily walk. In this, a staircase-like ghat should also be constructed so that people can take bath, worship etc. in the Sarovar. He said that after holding a meeting of all the parties, we had decided to start the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan because only if there is water and greenery, it will be safe.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone by unveiling the stone plaque of a total of 20 schemes at a cost of Rs 22.48 crore in Gram Panchayat Raj Apahar located in Amanour block. These schemes include solid and liquid waste management under Lohia Swachh Bihar Abhiyan, inauguration of newly constructed waste processing unit, inauguration of boundary wall and entrance gate constructed with development funds at Hariji Aphar High School cum Inter College Aphar Saran, inauguration of Chief Minister Rural Solar Street Light Scheme in Gram Panchayat Aphar, inauguration of construction of boundary wall of newly created primary school under MNREGA in ward number-8 of village Aphar, inauguration and foundation stone laying of schemes of many other departments. The Chief Minister inspected the pond located in Gram Panchayat Raj Aphar. During the inspection, the Chief Minister directed the officials to plant dense trees around the pond and install paver blocks.
The Chief Minister also visited the exhibition organized by various departments. During this, the Chief Minister gave the keys of battery operated tricycles to the disabled, symbolic cheque of Intercaste Marriage Promotion Grant Scheme under Social Welfare Department, symbolic cheque of Chief Minister Udyam Yojana, certificate of settlement of government land to eligible category beneficiaries under Abhiyan Basera, key of Chief Minister Block Transport Scheme, acceptance letter related to Kushal Yuva Program and Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme to the selected beneficiaries. The Chief Minister gave symbolic cheque of Rs 3 crore 29 lakh 41 thousand to 848 beneficiaries under Sustainable Livelihood Earning Scheme and symbolic cheque of Rs 127 crore 75 lakh related to bank loan to 18137 self-help groups to Jeevika sisters. The Chief Minister said that we have given the name Jeevika. Later the Center adopted this scheme as livelihood, do not forget this.
The Chief Minister visited Hariji Aphar High School cum Inter College. During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with the students and inquired about the status of studies and available facilities in the school. He also met the children participating in skating and other games in the school premises. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone by unveiling the plaque related to the construction work of 8 rooms and boundary wall in Ramballi Nandrani Interstate Project Girls School, Apahar, Saran, under Amanour block of Saran district.
