Chandigarh:Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday extended his greetings to Punjabis across the globe on the auspicious occasion of the Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
In his message on the eve of the Parkash Purb, the Chief Minister said that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was a great spiritual leader who guided humanity towards salvation by spreading the message of devotion to God and eternal values of love, compassion, and spirituality. He added that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji envisioned a casteless society free from rituals, aiming to liberate humanity from suffering.
Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji inspired humanity with new ideas and aspirations, urging them to reject hypocrisy, falsehood, and caste prejudice.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji remain relevant in today's complex and materialistic world.
