Celebrating Youthful Talent and Cultural Brilliance: State Level Youth Festival 2024 Concludes in Lakhisarai, Bihar
The closing session of the State Level Youth Festival, 2024 was organized today on 2.12.2024 in a grand and joyous atmosphere from the main stage located at Gandhi Maidan.
The beginning was full of enthusiasm, excitement and eagerness while the end was full of success, saturated and joyous.
The district was proud to host the young art talents from 38 districts of the state with full dedication, sincerity and discipline. In the journey of 30 years since its formation, the district has set a milestone in this direction by organizing the biggest and most important event.
Krimila, a famous city of the Buddhist period, or say today's Lakhisarai, situated on the banks of the north-western edge of the Chhota Nagpur Plateau, was buzzing with excellent arts and cultural activities of selected youth from all over Bihar for the last three days. The city saw with its own eyes the new records being created in the field of art and culture and gladly presented its participation.
For the last two days, competitions of different disciplines were organized at different places in the city, whose first, second and third winners were awarded today on the main stage of Gandhi Maidan by today's chief guest Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister cum Minister, Art Culture and Youth Department, Government of Bihar.
The program started with the honor of Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha and Hon'ble MLA of Suryagarha Shri Prahlad Yadav. After this, the honorable visitors and all the officials from state to district level associated with the program were honored. Meanwhile, the art team of Vidyapeeth Lakhisarai welcomed the guests by presenting a wonderful song.
All the well-known scholars who played the role of judges in various competitions of the festival were honored by offering Ang Vastra on behalf of the department.
Secretary of Art Culture Department Daya Nidhan Pandey blessed all the young participants present and wished them to do better in future and thanked the district administration for the better organization.
In his address, the honourable MLA of Suryagarha, Shri Prahlad Yadav, energized the participants by highlighting the importance of art and culture for the new generation. In his address, the honourable Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha promised to get real work done at the ground level in the field of art and culture for the youth, the results of which will be visible to everyone. The honourable Deputy Chief Minister inspired the youth to free their families from the five curses, inculcate five sanskars and achieve five social honours. He gave the slogan of honouring talent and uplifting the nation. The honourable Deputy Chief Minister made all the representatives, officials and participants present in the pandal take a pledge to this effect. The honourable Deputy Chief Minister announced to organize training of all disciplines from class 8 onwards in collaboration with the education department to promote art, culture and heritage. He also announced to build Atal Kala Bhavan in all the districts. After this, Manohar Ojha, a member of the jury, shared the experience related to this 3-day programme with the people present. Participants from Patna Bhagalpur district also shared their experiences in one minute each. After this, Patna district presented group folk singing and again group folk dance Sama Chakeva. On behalf of Lakhisarai, as a token of gratitude, girls from Balika Vidyapeeth presented group and folk dance. After this, the youth who proved their talent in the 3-day program, the participants who got first, second and third place in different genres were called on the stage by announcer Soma Chakraborty and Dr. Vijay Mishra and the participants were honored by giving medals by the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Government.
First prize in solo folk dance to Priya Ranjan Kumari Lakhisarai, second prize to Shilpi Kumari Saharsa, third prize to Chandni Kumari Jehanabad.
First prize in poetry writing to Arya Rani, Banka, second prize to Tausif Alam, Kaimur, third prize to Shivam Kumar, Muzaffarpur.
In story writing, first prize went to Samrat Sameer, Patna, second prize to Aastha, Purnia, third prize to Hrithik Singh Maurya, Kaimur.
In painting, first prize went to Ankita Kumari, Kaimur, second prize to Dev Krishna Bhagalpur, third prize to Sanskriti Purushottam Vaishali.
In sculpture, first prize went to Anand Kumar Singh, Saran, second prize to Raju Kumar, Munger and third prize to Gaurav Kumar.
In science exhibition, first prize was bagged by Ujjwal Kumar and group of Arwal district, second prize to Abhishek Anand and group of Katihar district and third prize to Sunny Raj and group of Aurangabad district.
In classical dance, the only participant in Manipuri dance, Vishnu Kumar from Araria district, participated and he got the first position. Two participants participated in Odissi dance in which Satyam Kumar Jha from Muzaffarpur got the first position and Shruti Kumari from Darbhanga got the second position. In Kathak dance, Richa Suman from Patna got the first position, Diksha from Bhagalpur got the second position and Ranjit Prajapati from Darbhanga got the third position. The only participant in Bharatnatyam, Anshu Kumar, participated from Patna and he stood first.
In handicrafts, first prize went to Chhotu Paswan, Arwal, second prize to Jeeva Praveen, Bhagalpur, third prize to Aditi Kumari, Patna.
In textile, first prize went to Beauty Kumari, Bhagalpur, second prize to Anjali Kumari, West Champaran, third prize to Pooja Kumari, Arwal.
In agroproduct, first prize went to Priyanka Kumari, West Champaran, second prize to Shrikant Kumar, Saran, Pallavi Kumari Shilpa, Arwal.
In solo folk singing, Sunidhi Suman, Patna, Devdutt Kumar, Lakhisarai, second prize to Diljeet Kumar, Bhagalpur, third prize.
In light harmonium, first prize went to Sunidhi Arya, Begusarai, second prize to Akash Kumar Singh, Sheikhpura, third prize to Aman Kumar, Bhagalpur.
In classical singing, first prize went to Atharva Manas, Patna, second prize to Jagjit Roshan, Gaya, third prize to Kirti Singh, Madhepura.
First prize in oratory was given to Aditya Kumar Madhukar, West Champaran. For second prize, two names are Prakash Pandey, Gopalganj and Pratima Kumari, Sitamarhi. Third prize was given to Pooja Kumari, Saharsa.
In photography, Pawan Kumar of Madhubani got first prize. Second prize was given to Pakhi Sharma, Munger. Third prize was given to Tushant Khurana, Nalanda.
First prize in group folk dance was given to Sama Chakeva of Patna. Second prize was given to Purnia. Third prize was given to Saharsa and Lakhisarai.
First prize in short drama was given to Begusarai. Second prize was given to Lakhisarai. Third prize was given to Samastipur.
First prize in classical music was given to Harshit Mishra, Patna. Second prize was given to Aryav Shankar, Patna. Third prize was given to Abhishek Kumar, Buxar.
First prize in group folk singing was given to Patna. Second prize was given to Lakhisarai and Samastipur. Third prize was given to Aurangabad. District Magistrate Mr. Mithilesh Mishra along with Additional Collector Mr. Sudhanshu Shekhar, Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Kundan Kumar, Senior Sub-Collector Mr. Shashi Kumar, Mr. Shashank Kumar, Mr. Rahul Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Mr. Vinod Prasad, District Education Officer Mr. Yaduvansh Ram, Land Reforms Sub-Collector Mrs. Situ Sharma, District Art and Culture Officer and other district and block level officers supported the programme with full readiness for the successful conduct of the programme.
