Bomb Threat Diverts Air India Flight from Delhi to Chicago, Emergency Landing Made in Canada

There has been a stir after the news of a bomb in an Air India flight surfaced. After the bomb threat, the Air India flight from Delhi to Chicago was diverted to Iqaluit Airport in Canada. This information has been given by the airline official.

According to an airline official, an Air India flight from Delhi to Chicago was diverted to Iqaluit Airport in Canada after a bomb threat. Flight AI127, which took off from Delhi to Chicago on October 15, 2024, was landed at Iqaluit Airport in Canada after a security threat.

The airline said in a statement, "The aircraft and passengers are being re-screened as per the prescribed security protocols. Air India has activated agencies at the airport to assist passengers until their journey resumes."

Recently, two IndiGo flights received bomb threats. In this, the first flight was going from Mumbai to Jeddah, whose number was 6E56. The second flight was going from Mumbai to Muscat, whose flight number was 6E1275. Security check of both the flights was started in a hurry.

Indigo spokesperson had said that flight 6E 1275 going from Mumbai to Muscat had received a bomb threat. After which the flight was taken to a separate bay and a security check was started. The spokesperson said that Indigo's second flight number 6E 56 going from Mumbai to Jeddah had also received a bomb threat. After which the security of the plane was checked.

Before Indigo's flight, another Air India flight was threatened with a bomb threat, after which this flight was made to make an emergency landing at Delhi airport. Let us tell you that news of bomb threats in flights comes out every day, due to which passengers have to face inconvenience.
