Patna: Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal has appealed to departmental officials to pay special attention to the problems of the common people and resolve their issues on a priority basis. He also emphasized the need for courteous behavior towards the public and adherence to rules and timelines in their work.
During the monthly progress review meeting, the Minister honored two Anchal Officers with appreciation letters for their outstanding performance. Manoj Kumar, Anchal Officer of Fulidumar, secured the first position, while Kumari Ragni, Anchal Officer of Amarpur, secured the fourth position. The ranking was based on their performance in providing 10 online services during the month of August.
Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena, who was present at the meeting, sought information about the online services being provided by the department to the public. He directed officials to minimize land disputes and inquired about the problems faced by the public in dealing with the revenue department.
The Chief Secretary emphasized the need to make joint meetings between police station in-charges and Anchal Officers more effective in resolving land disputes. He took note of the absence of police station in-charges in these meetings and directed officials to take necessary action.
The meeting was attended by 76 Anchal Officers from across the state, with two officers representing each district. The department's Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh and Secretary Jay Singh reviewed the progress of important schemes like dakhil-khariz, parimarjan, e-map, digitally signed revenue records, and Abhiyan Basera.
The Additional Chief Secretary announced that the monthly ranking of Anchal Officers would be released every month, with rewards for good performers and penalties for underperformers. The Secretary informed that the department plans to divide Anchal Officers into groups for review and feedback to ensure swift disposal of cases and address ground-level issues.
The meeting also solicited feedback from Anchal Officers on online services, and officials assured prompt resolution of the problems faced by them in the field. The meeting was held at the Revenue Survey Training Institute in Shastry Nagar, Patna, and was attended by senior officials, including Special Officer Laxman Tiwary and Land Acquisition Director Kamlesh Kumar Singh.
