Bihar Sharif Municipal Commissioner Refutes False Reports About Clock Tower

On Wednesday, Bihar Sharif Municipal Commissioner Deepak Kumar Mishra clarified the situation on the publication and broadcast of misleading news by some local newspapers and media handlers regarding the clock tower (watchtower) under construction in Bihar Sharif, the district headquarters of Nalanda. He clearly said that the work of the clock tower under construction in Bihar Sharif is not yet complete and in such a situation, the talk of its inauguration is completely fabricated and misleading. The clock tower is a part of Nala Road and the entire project will be inaugurated only after the completion of Nala Road.
He also said that some local newspapers and media handlers have also reported about this clock tower under construction that Rs 40 lakh has been spent on the construction of this clock tower. Whereas it is being constructed with a very small amount. The Municipal Commissioner said that Bihar Sharif Smart City Limited completely denies such news. Because the construction work of the clock tower is not yet complete. The talk of its inauguration before the completion of the construction work is also misleading. At present, work is going on on the design of this clock tower. Let us tell you that some local newspapers have also reported in their news that the clock of this Ghantaghar got damaged within just 24 hours of its inauguration. Which is completely misleading.
He said that this Ghantaghar is connected to the under construction Nala Road in Bihar Sharif. Till the time the construction of Nala Road is not completed, the inauguration of the Ghantaghar is not possible. Advising the people to avoid such misleading news, he said that the Ghantaghar will be inaugurated only after its construction is completed. On the construction cost of the Ghantaghar, he said that in the news its construction cost has been stated as Rs. 40 lakh. This news is also misleading. Whereas it is being constructed at a much lesser cost than this.
