Bihar Chief Secretary Reviews Progress of State Corporations and Agencies, Emphasizes Vision-2030 Goals

The Planning and Development Department organized a review meeting of the corporations, committees, authorities, agencies of the state government in hybrid mode on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of Bihar. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary gave instructions to the corporations, committees, authorities, agencies to maintain the rapid progress and highest quality of the schemes.

In this meeting, the Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Additional Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, Road Development Corporation Limited, Bridge Construction Corporation Limited, Building Construction Corporation Limited, Police Building Construction Corporation Limited, Industrial Area Development Authority, Housing Board, Tourism Development Corporation Limited, Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited, Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation, Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Industrial Development Authority were present.

Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Secretary of Health Department, Education Department, Rural Works Department, Road Construction Department, Home Department, Energy Department, Industries Department, Urban Development and Housing Department, Tourism Department, Building Construction Department participated in the meeting through video conferencing.

In the meeting, topics like financial progress of financial year 2024-25, physical progress of financial year 2024-25, PL account, status of funds available in bank account, Board of Directors, details of the meeting of the executive of the society, status of audit, status of compliance of Company Act, Cooperative Acts, five major points of Vision-2030 of the company, society, plan to increase internal resources of the company society, status of manpower, updated status of flagship scheme, status of portal for progress report, monitoring system, annual target etc. were discussed.
