Application Deadline Extended for Mukhyamantri Adarsh PACS Protsahan Yojana

The Cooperative Department had earlier invited applications for the selection of PACS as Adarsh ​​PACS in the financial year 2024.25. The said application period has been extended again by the Cooperative Department. The last extended period to apply is 17 January 2025. All PACS of the state can apply for this scheme through e-cooperative portal.

The objective of the Chief Minister Adarsh ​​PACS Protsahan Yojana is to develop PACS as Adarsh ​​PACS on the basis of clean competition. Under the scheme, three PACS of each district of the state are to be awarded with an amount of Rs 5 lakh, Rs 3 lakh and Rs 2 lakh respectively as first, second and third prizes. At the state level also, three PACS are to be awarded with an amount of Rs 15 lakh, Rs 10 lakh and Rs 7 lakh respectively as first, second and third prizes. Along with the said prize money, certificates and trophies will also be given to the PACS. Under the scheme, three crore ninety seven lakh rupees are to be spent in each financial year.

Under the Mukhyamantri Adarsh ​​PACS Promotion Scheme, the selection of PACS is three-tier. For reviewing the online applications by PACS, a three-tier committee is constituted under the chairmanship of the District Cooperative Officer at the district level, and a committee is constituted under the chairmanship of the Divisional Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies at the divisional level. And for review at the state level, a committee is constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Registrar (Credit) Cooperative Societies, Bihar, Patna.
