All India Civil Services Music, Dance & Drama Competition 2024-25 Begins in Patna

'All India Civil Services Music, Dance and Short Drama Competition 2024-25' is being organized from 25 February 2025 to 03 March 2025 at Urja Auditorium, Rajvanshi Nagar, Patna, Bihar under the aegis of Bihar Secretariat Sports Foundation and under the guidance of Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board, Government of India.
18 teams from different states are participating in this event. In total, about 750 participants are participating in it. The specialty of this competition is that all the participants participating in it are government officials and the program will be presented by them in different genres.
The Chief Guest of this grand event will be Bihar Chief Secretary Shri Amritlal Meena and Bihar Development Commissioner Shri Pratyaya Amrit will grace the program as a special guest. The inaugural ceremony will be held on 25 February 2025 at 5:30 pm, Urja Auditorium, Rajvanshi Nagar, Patna.
This competition will be held in many cultural genres in which short drama competition will be held from February 25 to February 27, music competition will run from February 28 to March 2, and dance competition will be held on March 3. The competition is being organized in various categories including short drama, Hindustani music, Carnatic music, western singing, folk singing, instrumental music. Civil service officers who perform well in all categories will be awarded. Awards will be distributed in all genres including best actor, actress, singer.
The chairman of the organizing committee is Mr. Pranav Kumar, Secretary, Department of Art, Culture and Youth. The secretary of the organizing committee is Mr. Rahul Kumar, Special Secretary, Finance Department. This event is being organized by the Cultural Division of Bihar Secretariat Sports Foundation under the aegis of Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board under the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
For the smooth conduct of this event, the presence of doctor, nurse, physiotherapist and ambulance driver has been ensured during the event.
