Absconding Fraudster Accused of Rs 300 Crore Embezzlement Arrested in Mathura Disguised as Saint

A team of Maharashtra Police has arrested an absconding accused from the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. This person is accused of embezzlement of Rs 300 crore. Local police has said that the accused has been arrested with the help of Vrindavan Police near Krishna Balram Temple in Mathura district. The accused has been arrested in Mathura in the guise of a saint.

The arrested accused of embezzlement of billions of rupees from Maharashtra has been identified as Baban Vishwanath Shinde, a resident of Beed district. Police has said that the police team from Beed district had come to Mathura to arrest Baban Shinde. After a lot of searching, he was found roaming in the guise of a saint near the temple of the British. Let us tell you that Krishna Balram Temple is also known as the 'British Temple'.

Police has said that during the investigation it was found that the accused Shinde had been living in Mathura in the guise of a saint for about a year. The Maharashtra Police team was looking for him in temples, ashrams, hotels, guest houses etc. According to the police, Shinde was living in disguise. When the Maharashtra Police team took the help of Mathura Police Crime Branch and Vrindavan Police, the accused was soon found.

Shinde is accused of embezzling three hundred crore rupees of depositors in 'Jijau Maa Saheb Multi-State Bank' of Beed district of Maharashtra and absconding from there. After that, he came to Vrindavan and lived in the guise of a sadhu for a year. Many cases of embezzlement were also registered against Shinde in the Dharashiv district of Maharashtra, in which he was wanted. The police produced him in the court and obtained his transit remand and then took him back to Maharashtra.
