AAP launches ‘Mission Vistar 2027’ in Gujarat with over 450 new appointments

As Gujarat gears up for the 2027 Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has already begun strengthening its organizational structure in the state. The party has taken a big step towards expanding the organization across the state and appointed more than 450 office bearers. On Monday, the list of these office bearers was formally released, giving a clear direction to the party's ‘Mission Vistar, 2027’ strategy.

According to party sources, this decision to expand the organization was taken when Gopal Rai was appointed in-charge of Gujarat and Durgesh Pathak as co-in-charge. This is the first major organizational appointment made under the leadership of these two leaders. Both Gopal Rai and Durgesh Pathak are senior leaders of Delhi and belong to Purvanchal. Gujarat has a considerable population of people from Purvanchal; keeping this in mind, these leaders have been entrusted with important responsibilities.

Under the new appointments, the Aam Aadmi Party has appointed regional in-charge, Lok Sabha in-charge and co-in-charge in all Lok Sabha constituencies. Apart from this, in-charges and co-in-charges have also been appointed at the assembly level. With the appointment of these officials, the party aims to gain organizational strength at the local level and increase its reach to the voters.

These appointments have been made in major districts like Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Chhota Udaipur, Narmada, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Surendranagar, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Amreli and Gandhinagar. The officials appointed in these areas will organize local workers, propagate the party's policies and establish direct communication with the general public.

In the 2022 assembly elections, AAP won five seats in Gujarat and got about 13 percent vote share. This performance reflects the party's prospects in state politics. Keeping the same performance in mind, the party is now focused on Mission 2027.

It is worth noting that AAP also won two seats in the Goa Assembly Elections 2022 and got 6.77 percent votes. These results have given new energy to the party towards becoming a strong opposition at the national level. Now the next goal of the party is to strengthen its base in a big and politically important state like Gujarat.

Aam Aadmi Party says that this is just the beginning. In the coming days, the organization will be expanded further and new office bearers will be appointed. The party has a clear goal - "Ghar-Ghar AAP", that is, to take the Aam Aadmi Party to every home. For this, work is being intensified at the ground level.

AAP's strategy regarding Mission 2027 has now become fully active and it will be interesting to see how big a role the party is able to play in the politics of Gujarat.
