23 Candidates Benefit from Bihar’s EBC Civil Service Promotion Scheme, Achieve Success in BPSC 69th CCE
A total of 23 (twenty three) candidates benefiting from the ambitious scheme "Mukhyamantri Extremely Backward Classes Civil Service Promotion Scheme" run by the Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department have been finally selected in the 69th Combined Competitive Examination, 2023 conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna, out of which a total of 2 (two) candidates are included in the top 10, namely Kranti Kumari (Megha No.-6) and Neeraj Kumar (Megha No.-10).
These 23 candidates who have finally got success were given an incentive amount of fifty thousand rupees each under the Chief Minister Extremely Backward Classes Civil Service Promotion Scheme for the preparation of the main examination after passing the 69th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination. Out of the successful candidates, a total of 14 candidates have been selected for the post of Revenue Service, 03 Labor Enforcement Officer, 02 District Planning Officer, 01 Deputy Superintendent of Police, 01 Deputy Election Officer, 01 Supply Inspector and 01 Block Panchayati Raj Officer.
It is to be known that under the Chief Minister Extremely Backward Classes Civil Service Incentive Scheme operated by the Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department from the financial year 2018-19, there is already a provision to provide incentive amount of Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 50,000 respectively to the permanent resident candidates of the state of Extremely Backward Classes for the preparation of the main examination after passing the Civil Services Preliminary Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi and the Joint Preliminary Examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna. By expanding this scheme, many other important examinations have also been included from the year 2024, for which a provision has been made to provide the prescribed incentive amount to the candidates of Extremely Backward Classes after passing the preliminary examination.
On the success of all the above selected candidates, the Honorable Minister, Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department, Shri Hari Sahni and Secretary of Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department, Shri Manoj Kumar expressed happiness and wished them a bright future.
