Liver damage can be prevented by consuming Drumstick leaves. The antioxidant quercetin found in drumstick leaves helps in reducing blood pressure. Its leaves also contain potassium, which makes blood circulation in the arteries easier. A substance like insulin is present in drumstick leaves, which helps in controlling increased blood sugar.

The fiber present in drumstick also slows down the absorption of sugar in the blood, which reduces the chances of diabetes.
