Grand release ceremony of the book Cyber Crime Against Women by Neerja Chaturvedi in the auditorium of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was organised. The book was jointly released by Additional District and Sessions Judge Kanwal Jeet Arora, Member Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority, Sanjay Singh IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police, well-known cyber law expert Rakshit Tandon and Vijay Gaur, General Secretary, Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti. It is noteworthy that in March 2022, the authors of this book, Neerja Chaturvedi and Co- writer Dr. Jyoti Gaur were invited by the Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti and Delhi Legal Services Authority to be honored with the Women's Empowerment Award on International Women's Day. But after showing their resolve and publishing the book, both of them received this award after a month in this ceremony. On this occasion Additional District and Session Judge Sushant Changotra, Additional Secretary Delhi State Legal Services Authority, Neha Priya, Metropolitan Magistrate and Secretary, South West, District Legal Services Authority, Renowned Cyber Law Expert Rakshit Tandon, Bharat Bhushan Vice President, Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti, University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Shivani Goswami along with all other professors and assistant professors of the department were present. On this occasion, Additional District and Sessions Judge Kanwal Jeet Arora, Member Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority said that the book will become a powerful tool for cyber crime prevention. Sanjay Singh, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police, congratulated writers Neerja Chaturvedi and Dr. Jyoti Gaur for selecting the best articles on cyber-crime in the book and publishing them in the form of a book to reach the public. Well-known cyber law expert Rakshit Tandon called this publication of the book the need of the hour and to be aware of this. He mentioned that such books will prove to be really useful in the benefit of the public. He also expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of Sanchay Prakashan and internationally renowned NG Udisha in book publication on behalf of Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti and praised Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti and South West District Legal Services Authority and University School of Law along with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Swapnil Pankh Foundation for organising such programme.
