Bihar Utsav 2025 Showcases the State’s Rich Art and Culture in Delhi

To bring alive the glorious art, culture and traditions of Bihar in the capital city of Delhi, 'Bihar Utsav 2025' is being organized from 16 March to 31 March at Delhi Haat, INA. In this grand festival, rural artisans, weavers and handicraftsmen of Bihar are present with their precious creations, so that visitors can experience the unique art and craft of Bihar closely.

A grand presentation of cultural programs will also be done especially on the occasion of Bihar Day on March 22, in which traditional folk music and dance will connect the audience directly with the cultural heritage of Bihar.

The program was inaugurated by Shri Kundan Kumar, IAS, Resident Commissioner of Bihar Bhawan, while Shri Shekhar Anand, IAS, Director, Technical Development, was present as the special guest.

Resident Commissioner Mr. Kundan Kumar said, "Bihar Utsav is not just a display of art and culture, but it is an important platform to connect Bihar's heritage with the country and the world. We believe that this festival will increase the interest of Delhiites towards the unique art of Bihar and they will also be inspired to visit Bihar."

Special Guest Mr. Shekhar Anand said, "Events like Bihar Utsav give national and international recognition to our artisans. It not only promotes their skills, but also contributes significantly to the economic prosperity and cultural preservation of the state."

The artisans participating in the festival are showcasing many handicrafts including Bihar's famous silk, khadi, Madhubani, Tikuli, Manjusha paintings, Sujani embroidery, Sikki art, wood and bamboo products. Along with this, delicious dishes of Bihar are also available at the stalls.

Bihar Utsav 2025 is an annual event organized by the Government of Bihar to promote the art, culture and tradition of Bihar to the people across the country.
