Wrote dialogues for Shahrukh Khan's film, but Lilliput never met Bollywood’s King

Bollywood's King Shahrukh Khan has done many such films in the beginning of his film career, which people still remember. He did many films during that time which proved to be big hits. In the year 1992, one of his films was liked very much by the people. That film was 'Chamatkar' which got a lot of love from the people.

Actress Urmila Matondkar and actor Naseeruddin Shah were in lead roles along with Shahrukh in the film. The film 'Chamatkar' was written by well-known actor M. M. Farooqui aka Lilliput. The dialogue of the film was very funny, being a comedy film, everyone enjoyed watching it. Recently, Lilliput has also said something related to the film in his interview.

Lilliput never met Shahrukh Khan

Lilliput had written the dialogues of Shahrukh Khan's hit film 'Chamatkar'. He has told that he has written Shahrukh Khan's film but never met him. Lilliput said, 'We never had a conversation with Shahrukh.' When he was asked whether the writers of the film were allowed to go to the set of the film, he said that no, we were not allowed to go to the set.

He said, 'Rajiv Mehra, who was the director of the film, did not call the writer on the set. Whatever we had written was final, no changes were made to the set. He used to say that whatever changes you have to make in the script, you should do it before the shoot. Whatever trimming is to be done, correcting the scene, everything was done before the shoot, after that the shooting started.'

'Mirzapur series was an incident'

Lilliput also talked about his popular web series 'Mirzapur' in his interview in which he played the character of 'Dadda Tyagi'. He said, 'Mirzapur series was an incident. I never thought that I would work in it. One day suddenly a call came. I reached there and my getup was finalized there. I had reached the set to shoot. He explained the scene to me and then I did it. I did not have any prior planning that I would pose in this way or speak in this way. I just did whatever was explained to me.'

Lilliput said in his conversation that today people know him the most for his role of 'Dadda Tyagi' in 'Mirzapur'. He has played a very good role in the series due to which his character's name has also been included in the list of memorable characters of the 'Mirzapur' web series.
