Every day a crowd of fans gathers here, just in the hope of getting a glimpse of King Khan. But why is Shahrukh Khan’s Mannat so special? What is its history? Let's understand the unique story of Mannat.

According to The Indian Express, this bungalow of Shahrukh Khan was built in about 27 thousand square feet. It is said that the real name of Mannat was earlier Villa Vienna. This is a heritage grade 3 building, which Shahrukh Khan bought in the year 2001. This bungalow is situated near the bandstand in Bandra area of Mumbai. Mannat was constructed in the year 1914. Then the owner of this bungalow was Nariman A. Dubash. This bungalow is considered a grade-three heritage property. This means that no tampering can be done with its original structure. Therefore, Shahrukh Khan's six-story Mannat is also built behind its old building.

In some places, there are facts that this building was built by the king of Mandi in the initial period. This is said to be from the 19th century. Therefore, the letter M of Mannat is also linked to Mandi. Bharat Gothoskar of the Khaki Heritage Foundation has shared this information in some reports. In some places, it is claimed that this bungalow was built by a Parsi person Manekji Botalwala. In the year 1917. And, the M in the name of the bungalow is a symbol of his name. At that time, the design of the bungalow is said to be inspired by the design of Villa La Rotunda, a 16th-century building built in Vicenza, Italy.

When Shahrukh Khan bought this bungalow, its price was Rs 13.01 crore. Now if we talk about the price of this building, it has reached Rs 200 crore. Shahrukh Khan bought this heritage bungalow from Bai Khorshed Bhanu Trust. At that time Shahrukh Khan was shooting for Yes Boss here. Shahrukh Khan liked this bungalow very much while shooting. Then only he decided to buy it.

Now the news is coming that Shahrukh Khan will soon vacate Mannat temporarily. Actually, two more floors are being built in Mannat. Gauri Khan has received permission for this from Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority. Due to this renovation, Shahrukh Khan and his family are going to shift to a rented flat for some time.
