Sonu Sood's big revelation: Why did he say 'no' to 'Dabangg 2'; said, "It is very important to say no"
Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has played many such roles in his film career, and everyone praises his work and craft today. He has been working in films for a long time, and due to this, he has a huge fan following today. Now, Sonu has also become a director. His new film, Fateh, is going to be released in theaters very soon, and he is busy promoting it.
Sonu has played many characters, but one of his characters created a different image of him in everyone's mind. In 2010, he played the character of Chhedi Singh in Salman Khan's superhit film Dabangg. His character in the film was highly appreciated, and people also considered him the best villain. But few people know that he refused to do Dabangg 2.
These days Sonu is promoting his film Fateh, where he talks about himself and his films. Meanwhile, he also shared his experience of working in his hit film Dabangg. He also revealed that he was going to be in Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 2' but he refused.
In his conversation, Sonu talked about the importance of actors saying 'no' in the industry and said, 'I believe that if you do not have the strength to say no in the industry, then you will not be able to survive. It is very important to say no. It is a very risky thing that you are going to work on the set of a film for 4-6 months. If you are not happy at that time, if you are doing that role to please someone, then you will be unhappy on the set every day. It is important for you to be happy because that will be visible to people in your acting.'
Sonu further said about not working in Dabangg 2, 'I was also offered Dabangg Part 2. If you remember when Dabangg 1 ended, at the end Chhedi Singh's twin brother is shown. He comes to take revenge for his brother. It was also written in the script earlier that his twin brother comes out of jail and takes revenge on him. I had heard the script and I didn't like it that much.'
'I had also told Salman and Arbaaz that I don't want to do this film. The story doesn't sound that good. But they said that the film will be a big hit, you work in the film. But I told them that no, I can't do this film.'
He said, 'I remember when the film was released, I went for its trial. Salman Bhai called me and asked me if Chhedi Singh would like to see the film you had refused to do. So, I said yes, of course. I went and saw the film; he asked me about the film. Now that the film was made, you couldn't say much but I wished him all the best.
